v Congratulations to Brad Marzec and Nick Nigem

Ø Bradly finished a brilliant Sophomore season with a record of 36-6 and represented the Knights of Toledo St. Francis de Sales at state tournament competition.

Ø Nick Nigem (32-6) also capped an outstanding season and high school career by winning two matches at the state tournament!

v Preliminary Round Competition – Thursday 6pm

Ø Sophomore Brad Marzec (36-5) was decisioned 9-4 by the projected state runner-up and two time state placer, Senior Mike Baria of Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller:

Ø Senior Nick Nigem (31-4) scored the first takedown near the end of the first period and continued to score defeating Senior Chip Kubiak of Cleveland St. Ignatius by a final score of 7-3.

v Consolations Round I, Thursday 9:00pm

Ø Brad was defeated 15-0 by Senior Kyle Harper of North Canton Hoover

v Championship Quarterfinals, Friday 11:50am

Ø Nick Nigem was defeated by the projected 3^rd place 215# Division I finisher, Pat Barrentine from Dayton Carroll. The match ended in a pin as Nick got caught in 1^st period action.

v Consolations Round II, Friday 2:30pm

Ø Nick (32-5) collected his 2^nd state tournament victory and defeated Senior J.T. Espinosa of Massillon Perry by a score of 6-2.
